Well I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by a left leaning outlet such as the BBC to give a positive portrayal of Hasidic life.
Although he doesn’t sound like the smartest cookie out there, and that’s probably the reason he was chosen to do the things he did with the drugs, and it’s a little obvious that he doesn’t want to fully integrate into the community he wants “to eat the cake and have it” (no pun intended), but over all he does sound like a nice guy who got caught in something that was larger then he could handle, all I can say to him is good luck.
And there is one more thing, that had to come in, its the classic “parents” excuse for everything one does wrong in life, but over all it’s a nice piece.
BTW, the smoking - I think - was a bit overdone from an editing point of view, but who am I to say LOL!!

Drug dealing, benefit cheating, deliberate non integration within the community...in other words, because the BBC did not condemn this behaviour, they receive your praise. And yet, had it been a positive portrayal of a drug dealing muslim, what would you think of this "left leaning" channel?
Left leaning is ok if it means portraying drug dealing jews in a positive light...& you wonder why people have such a low opinion of your community with this kind of superior hypocrisy.
