Mi K’amcha Yisroel. What other nation in the world would with one hand defend its people and the other help those it seeks to defend itself from.

"That's how it goes in the most moral army in the world- Instead of blowing up the weapons smuggling tunnels, they rescue the people that try to kill them... after smuggling weaponry they receive medical care, blankets, a cup of tea and cigarettes... We won't even mention what the three IDF soldiers that wondered into Ramallah a few years ago got... (They were lynched).

That's the difference between us and them- and the "funny" thing is, they try to portrait us as the animals.

  2. You are being insincere here. Some of these pictures are quite old and not from the current Gaza battle. They've been around for quite some time. Please check the sources that yielded you these photos.

  6. The ones at the bottom are for sure recent and the top ones are not much older... even amusing that they are not recent pictures which I belive they are, it doesn't undermined the fact that IDF and Israel cares for these people a lot more then the world tries to show.

  9. Lariber - I am a little confused what your trying to say

  10. You don't smile at the enemy or cuddle it or whatever. I understand Jews have a hard time staying angry, we're wired differently but cozying up to these aholes just makes them hate us even more. They understand and crave brutality, that leads to respect and fear. All we need. No lovey-dovey b.s.

  11. Cool Jew, please check your sources, because the soldier with the kitten is MOST DEFINITELY FROM A PRIOR WAR EXPERIENCE AT LEAST 2 YEARS' OLD. I know this for a fact, as it's been on my computer all that time.

However, they do represent the generous, sincere, compassionate Israelis (beside other middos).

  12. to lariber:

i actually read a couple of years ago in somehwere - not so sure where or as to the exact details - but there was an article of it was i think during one of the israeli palestinian wars and an enemy woman was deeply injured and only the israeli was able to help ansd they treated her and she did - something good for the israelis...

im not so sure but the point is that by showing that we aren't barbarians is a reflection on who we are.in the Tanya in states that yidden have two traits of Gemilas Chassadim and Rachmonas that no gentile can ever have and these israelis are reflecting those traits.

p.s. (The Cool Jew - if this comment for some odd reason cant go on then please restrain form doing so.)

  13. TheCoolJew: once again, I don't know who gave you these pictures, but I have every single one of these pictures on my computer for years already. These pictures are from the second intifada in East Jerusalem in the year 2000. They are not wartime pictures. Do u consider 8-9 years, recent? Don't believe for one minute that our IDF soldiers have time for these acts of chesed now. We are in severe gun battles now. No helping old arabs with a huge crowd of Palestinians standing behind the soldiers and approving the wonderful acts of chesed. Don't kid yourself. These pictures are very old. Please issue a correction. Otherwise, it is pure reckless journalism on your part. This could be misconstrued by the wrong people at this time and make us look bad. We don't need this at this time. Let's pray for our soldiers and leave the chesed to jew for jew.

  15. What does it matter when these photos represent? The truth is they are showing a feel and compassion from Israeli soldiers that I don't ever recall seeing from say a Hamas fighter, or any in the Jihadi armies, anywhere. What it says to me, is Israeli soldiers do have compassion for innocent Palestinians. Again, this is something you will not see from the other sides...

  18. Um, I uderstand that is actually a Canadian soldier petting a cat in Iraq.

Must be very, very difficult, though there are so many Israeli soldiers, to find some acting humanely. I'm very sorry for that.
