How Close Are We REALLY To Moshiach ?!
It seems we may be closer to Moshiach then we ever thought.
1. One of the first people of this generation to really push that we are in Moshiach's time is the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He proclaimed, "This is the generation the will see Moshiach." Now almost 20 years after his passing people are more skeptical then ever. However when the war in Iraq broke out in 2003 a "sicha" was revealed from the Rebbe, describing detail for detail as to the war in 2003,. The talk was said years earlier. Now 2011. The Lubavitcher Rebbe made an open prediction about this current situation in Egypt. In 1980, the Rebbe was quoted saying, " Who knows who will rule Egypt in a year? And who can assess the situation there in 30 years." We see one year after this statement Sadat was assassinated! Thirty Years later brings us to this year! It seems some foresight existed even to this very moment. We are not off the radar just yet.
2. Rumor is spreading(WE HOPE TO SOON CONFIRM), Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg, father of Gavriel a"h who was murdered in the Mumbai attacks, has again had a dream where his son appeared and gave him a message about Moshiach. In the dream Gavriel told his father "You have no idea how close Moshiach is...." SEE HERE
3. The Middle east is heating up to its most dangerous point in decades. Rabbi Lazer Brody writes his thoughts:
* No democracies will emerge from the rubble of the upheavels in the Arab countries. The secular tyrants will be replaced by Islamic rule. More specifically:
* Qaddafi's fall in Libya is a matter of days. As a secular tyrant, he beat down the Muslims. They will now emerge to unite the country under Islam.
* Expect to see a figure like Sheikh Yusuf el Qaradawi became the Islamic leader of Egypt; Egypt too will unite under Islam. Imagine the ramifications of the Muslim Brotherhood controlling the Suez Canal.
* Abdulla II's days are numbered in Jordan. It may take a little longer, but Jordan will become Islamic too.
* Today crude oil is $86/barrel; expect that price to double in the nearest future.
* Hamas will soon overthrow the corrupt PA in the West Bank; sounds like a longshot, but it's part of the scenario. Why? It will complete the noose of radical Islam that surrounds Israel's neck. But out of this fear, G-d willing, will sprout a marvelous return to Hashem and a miraculous redemption.
* What can the West look forward to? It looks like major oil shortages, skyrocketing food prices, and much more economic difficulties; remember, these factors are historically fertile ground for antisemitism in the Diaspora.

ReplyDeleteActually as Baba Sali and others have predicted Moshiach did already arrive in 5771, but he has not yet declared himself openly. Each person needs to recognize Moshiach for himself. This may not be that easy, since he will appear as an ordinary man, still incognito, until most people acknowledge him. The way to recognize him is thru his words or the message that he brings - the message of peace, brotherhood and justice. See http://www.moshiachishere.org/
